Location: 
Located on the Saguenay River about 60 nautical miles from the junction of the Saguenay River with the St.Lawrence River. Navigational season is 12 months per year.

Description: 
Wharves are built on piles and berthing is difficult when there is a northeast wind. Specialized in handling cargo of newsprint. Large open storage area.

Winter: 
Icebreaking fee is compulsory (From December 21st to April 15th). Double pilotage is in force and 2 pilots board vessels. (From January 1st to March 15th).

Pilotage: 
Compulsory. Pilot station is Les Escoumins pilot station. Position: A line joining positions 48°19’05" N, 69°24’53" W; & 48°08’05" N, 69°11’14" W.
