Location: 
Located on the south shore of the St.Lawrence about 102 nautical miles east (downstream) of Quebec City. Navigational season is 12 months per year.

Description: 
Enclosed basin offering good protection and year long navigation. Entrance of the basin between the breakwaters is 170 meters wide and depth is 8.00 meter chart datum. Terminal for forest products with large open storage area, covered stowage area for general cargoes.

Winter: 
Icebreaking fee is compulsory (From December 21st to April 15th). Double pilotage is in force and 2 pilots board vessels. (From January 1st to March 15th).

Water density: Brakish Tidal range: Mean tide 3,7 m
                      Large tide 5,3 m

Pilotage: 
Compulsory. Pilot station is Les Escoumins pilot station. Position: A line joining positions 48°19’05" N, 69°24’53" W; & 48°08’05" N, 69°11’14" W.
